About Us
Each time the police officers represented by Terre Haute FOP Lodge No. 85 put on their uniform and report for duty, they have your safety on their mind. Our association represents the brave and selfless officers who protect Terre Haute's families day in and day out.
When our city's police officers aren't in their squad cars patrolling our neighborhoods, they're constantly training so we can uphold our pledge to deliver excellence in public safety.
We recognize that we're nothing without a strong and thriving relationship with our community, and we're proud to support several charities and community events including the Special Olympics, Junior Police Academy, and our Christmas with the Police Program, among many others. We're honored to be a part of the city that we've taken an oath to protect.
Mission Statement
The Terre Haute Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 85 is committed to helping to provide a safe community and improving the quality of life for all people. We accomplish this by working in conjunction with the community law enforcement agencies, to ensure that quality police services are provided and that all laws are enforced with equity and impartiality.
In partnership with the community, we aid in the reduction of crime through public educational programs, and prevention and awareness initiatives. In meeting this objective, we hold of ourselves the highest standards of service and dedication to community.
